If you buy one skull ring, this is the one. The Original Jim Skull is Alfred Albrizio's signature piece: a compact skull with a defined brow, hollow eyes and a full row of teeth, hand-finished so every detail holds. It was designed in the family's New York shop in the late 1970s by Alfred's great uncle, but it earned its name in the early 1990s, when tattoo artist Jonathan Shaw brought Johnny Depp, Iggy Pop and Jim Jarmusch into the store looking for a ring they could all wear as the Death Is Certain crew. Jarmusch picked this medium flat-top skull off the shelf, and it has been the Jim Skull ever since. Depp was photographed wearing it constantly, and Iggy Pop put it on the cover of his album Skull Ring. 

*All rings are handmade in the USA in Sterling Silver (Nickel FREE) .  *All rings are made to order and generally take about 2 to 3 weeks.  *From the top of th ahead to the bottom of the teeth measures approximately 15mm. *All jim skull rings are sold with a hollow back, that’s how the mold was made originally.  You do have the option to make it solid back when selecting your size and material. *All rings are also available in 10K, 14K, or 18K yellow, white or rose gold, platinum and  palladium . Prices available upon request. *Stones and engraving can be added to most rings.    Prices available upon request.

Never Fear Truth. The NFT Jim Skull takes the same flat-top skull as the Original Jim Skull — defined brow, hollow eyes, full row of teeth — and uses the flat planes on each side as a canvas: NEVER cut into the left side, TRUTH across the forehead, FEAR down the right, each letter hand-engraved in a rough, tattoo-style script and darkened so it reads from across the room. The eyes are where you make it yours. Leave them open, or have them set with stones: diamonds, rubies, blue sapphires.
